Well we're nearly coming to the end of term with the last class next week before you all break up for the summer, and after a full couple of months everything is now winding down for Kingfisher as well, with all of us looking forward to our summer holidays. The first of the Phase 2 visits has taken place this week and a few more arranged before we all break up. We can’t believe how fast things are coming around!

What a scorcher!
WOW what a scorcher of a week, good job we’ve been doing the weather activity !!!
The temperature reached 23°C at Worthington this week and that was outside. The children in the classroom have been very lethargic in the afternoon heat.
A very busy week again with three more schools visiting for the climate change programme and hopefully all our visitors have been keeping up their good work and spreading the messages of how to help our environment back at school.

A Busy Week
Wow!! What a busy week. Three classes have used the classroom this week for the 'Act on Climate Change' programme and every pupil that has visited has made their promise on how they are going to help the environment whether it be to try and reduce their carbon footprint or to save water. We will be checking up children when we visit you in school so don't forget you need to put your promises into action.

Official naming of our on site fox!!
That's it, we are well and truly back into the swing of things. The last two 'Act on Climate Change' classes have been fortunate with the weather, only one group caught in the odd shower? Lets hope for a reasonably dry summer.
The group today decided that they wanted to name our on site fox, and as we have never had a request like that before we said OK, and from now on he goes by the name of Stanley!! So for those of you who know where his earth is, now you know who to ask for.

What's that noise?
Well it's got to that time of the week again when we let you all know what's been going on at Worthington this week.
With the mixture of weather - sunshine and rain, the site is starting to come to life, in more ways than one. The bluebells have started to appear and spring is definitely in the air. The resident wildlife are feeling it too and becoming more active and noisy.

We are now open for bookings and have lots of the old programmes up for offer as well as a few new ones. Give us a ring to secure your spot, and we can't believe we are saying this but the place is too quiet without the kids!!
