Coming to the end of term
Well we're nearly coming to the end of term with the last class next week before you all break up for the summer, and after a full couple of months everything is now winding down for Kingfisher as well, with all of us looking forward to our summer holidays. The first of the Phase 2 visits has taken place this week and a few more arranged before we all break up. We can’t believe how fast things are coming around!
It also looks like our messages of “Turning the tap off when you brush your teeth” and all those other water saving ideas are now more important than ever for us in the North West, with our first hose pipe ban in a long while to start on Friday 09 July. Remember to make sure that you keep your promise’s over the summer holidays as well, we know you won’t be getting checked up on by your teachers but hopefully things are becoming more habit now. If your promise was to walk to school, don’t think your getting out of it either!! Make sure any short journeys to the shops or round to friends house’s are completed on foot or bike to make up for it!!
Hope to see your schools again in the next academic year, you maybe on of the lucky ones to win a ‘Kingfisher Shield’ if you are part of the Kingsbridge excellence cluster, we wish everyone the best over summer.
