Set up your very own ‘Dragons Den’ scenario.
Pupils will set up their own mini business enterprise scheme and carry out hands on activities that will enhance work related learning and personal capabilities.
Pupils work together in small groups and decide on team roles, identifying the skills needed to perform certain tasks involved in business such as management, marketing and product development. They will develop a business plan and make a prototype product using waste materials.
Pupils finally 'market' their product and present their ideas to the whole of the class.
The session aims to develop confidence, responsibility and teamwork skills along with communication, presentation skills and sharing ideas.
