Waste Workshop

Introduce your pupils to the world of waste and what happens to rubbish.

A classroom based session where the children find out what happens to their waste and discover how waste can have an impact on the environment. Pupils...

  • Learn about the 3R’s
  • Find out about composting
  • Carry out a waste challenge

Using interactive, hands on activities the children learn about the journey of their waste and work together as a team to form their own recycle loop.

Our shopping bag activity focuses the children on the 3R’s in a fun relay game.

The children are also set with a challenge to create a super hero or waste villain from recycled waste and present their finished model to the class.
